Hey, girl, before we get into today's episode, I want to share that we have four new freebies for you at right now. So these are four free downloads that I put together that will help you with your routines and also planning. So just to give you a sneak peek, one of the free downloads is my top five planning tips for mindful productivity. These are tips that I use every single week to make sure that I'm creating a realistic plan that I'm being thoughtful about how I'm planning so that I don't over plan and that I actually stick to my plan. So these are some really great tips as well as another freebie that I put together for you is a routine assessment. And so this is actually a download where you can assess the five routine categories cooking, cleaning, children's, self care, and planning to see which routine category do you need most in your life right now so that you can start to build a routine based within that category. So this is a really great routine assessment. And this has helped so many women when it comes to them trying to decide which routine to start, so I know it will be helpful for you. So these are just two freebies, I have an additional two on the website. So I want you to go ahead and check them out. You can go to and I'll also place a link to all of the freebies in the show notes. I want to share that with you but let's go ahead and get into today's episode.

Okay, let's get into it this three day laundry routine.

Ashley Brown 4:32
As you know there are many ways that you can do the laundry that you can you know you can do one load a day you can do where you do all the laundry and one day it means wash, dry, fold, put away but I want to share with you a laundry routine that helped me get a handle on my laundry like for real because I was never the one load a day type of person. I'm like, Nah, I'm not doing that. And I tried it but it didn't work for me and I also used to do all the laundry in one day, and then I would just be exhausted. And I'm like, I don't want to do this anymore. So what I started doing was breaking my laundry up into three days. So it's kind of like an assembly line approach. Because what I would do, I'm gonna share this with you three day laundry routine. Here we go. And before I give you the steps, the outcome because you always want to have an outcome because your actions have to align and match it, make sure it goes with the outcome. And so the outcome is for my laundry to be washed and put away in a timely manner.

Ashley Brown 5:32
And so in order to do this, these are the steps of the routine. So day one, you're going to wash and dry your clothes. day one, day two, you're going to fold your clothes, day three, you are going to put your clothes away. That is the steps of this routine. So this routine is dispersed throughout three days. So instead of doing laundry on one day, instead of doing one load a day you are going to wash and dry all of your clothes, day one fold day two, put away day three. Now this will work for you if you fold, if you fold your clothes still this is going to work for you. I used to do this one and I did this for at least over a year and then I stopped folding my clothes because it just I was just like I can't do this anymore. So I stopped folding my clothes so I do like a two day laundry routine I wash and dry all the clothes and then I put them away because I don't fold so I just skip that second step.

Ashley Brown 6:25
But this could be really great because what it does is it helps you compartmentalize like you just can focus on one thing each day instead of becoming overwhelmed and this is really great especially if you have multiple loads of laundry that you need to wash or you have even if you have like a large family this could be really great for you. So think about this laundry routine because this is just another way to do laundry there are plenty of ways you can do it. But I wanted to share this with you in case it gives you some inspiration today. If laundry has been causing you stress try this routine. Just try it. What is the harm you can always test you can always try if it doesn't work, it doesn't work, but I think it will. I think it will. That's it for this episode. I hope that this was helpful for you sharing another routine.
